Product Marketing Specialist
Boston, MA
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop strategic marketing campaigns to promote digital products and services.
- Create digital advertising campaigns (PPC, Social Media, Email, Media Buys, etc.)
- Use data to analyze the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns and develop new strategies as needed.
- Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and creatives to design and develop marketing materials such as videos, copy, display ads, etc.
- Analyze consumer trends and market research.
- Conduct rigorous research on consumer buying habits and preferences to identify potential new markets for products and services.
- Closely monitor KPIs such as (but not limited to) Lifetime Value and Cost Per Acquisition.
- Monitor user behavior and use the data collected to make applicable changes.
- Consistent review of the product’s UX/UI, test on multiple devices/browsers, and adjust accordingly.
- Detailed reporting of product performance metrics, including sales volume and profit margins.
- Work closely with the IT team to improve the product and fix any potential bugs or problems.
- Audit competitor products and marketing materials to identify opportunities for growth.
- Create and manage PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
- Track٫ report٫ and analyze website analytics.
- Write and optimize ad and landing page copy for paid search engine marketing campaigns.
- Remain current on marketing trends, best social media, and search engine marketing practices.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Marketing or a related quantitative field.
- 2 years of progressive work experience in search engine marketing and managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
- 2 years of progressive work experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Jira, SimilarWeb, Tableau).
- Demonstrated knowledge of HTML٫ CSS٫ and JavaScript development processes and constraints. *Demonstrated knowledge of marketing software skills (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM).
- Experience may be gained concurrently. **Demonstrated knowledge or experience is equivalent to at least 6 months of work experience as it cannot be learned during a reasonable period of on-the-job training.
